Data Migrations From Other Platforms
Migrating data between systems occurs frequently. The BMC Helix platform has mature data integration and transformation tool support built into the platform. We are experienced at migrating data from other systems and platforms using API, database, ETL tools, and data load files along with the BMC Helix Data Manager.
Some strategy options for data migration include a “Big Bang” approach where the transfer is completed within a reduced amount of time, or a “Phase” migration where the data is brought over in discrete stages. We guide you through the key steps in executing your data migration strategy including defining and designing the migration, building the solution, testing including automated testing, final migration execution, and auditing.
